Annual CCS Exhibition The CCS holds its annual exhibition, Alphabetical Order, in October and November each year at various venues around Canberra. In 2007, it will be held at Cornucopia Bakery from Tuesday 21st October for around four weeks. Cornucopia is easily one of the best bakeries in the whole of Canberra and is well worth a visit in its own right. We trust that having stunningly executed calligraphic art work decorating the walls will only enhance the experience at this fine establishment. A map of where to find Cornucopia Bakery can be found on the maps page. The theme of the exhibition in 2008 is "Our Planet", since 2008 is the Year of the Planet. Calligraphic works that deal with any aspect of this planet or any other planet are welcome. As always, the theme is only a suggestion, and any calligraphic work will gladly be accepted for display in the exhibition. Examples of works displayed in exhibitions from previous years can be found on the gallery page.
Manuscript Pens Manuscript Pens are makers of calligraphic pens, nibs and general writing instruments. Members of the Canberra Calligraphy Society will be demonstrating their products at the various Eckersley's Art Stores located in Canberra.
